Yakuza 4: Becoming somebody in a world with nobodies

The over-dramatic narrative of the trailer embedded above does a way better job shedding some new light on the story of Yakuza 4 than I could ever do, which is why I’ll just leave you to it. Enjoy your favorite ass-kicking mobster and his entourage take on Tokyo’s less scenic route, or Red Light District, as it were.

Yakuza 4 is scheduled for a mid-2011 release.

Bungie shows Noble Map Pack’s Breakpoint

Bungie’s put out a 4+ minute commentary video for next week’s Noble Map Pack for Halo: Reach.

This one shows off gameplay on the Breakpoint map only, which is one of three included in the pack, so expect two more videos before it launches next Tuesday, on November 30th. It’ll be going for 800 Microsoft Points. Find more details on the maps here.

Gran Turismo 5 out today, here’s a trailer

Well, it’s really here. After a 5-year development cycle and plenty of mind games with fans’ hearts, Gran Turismo 5 is at last releasing in both North America and Europe today. To commemorate the occasion, Sony’s put out the customary launch trailer. Catch it above.

The game’s been getting positive reviews so far, though, according to Metacritic, most are in the 80/100 range at the time of writing.
