Following this week’s tragic earthquake disaster in New Zealand, Sony have decided to pull the upcoming MotorStorm Apocalypse from releasing in the country.
The decision was made “out of respect for those affected by the earthquake,” as retailers put it. A potential release later down the line was not ruled out however.
Apocalypse is still on for a March 16 release in the UK and the rest of Europe, with the US following in April.

Sony’s drum-beating charmer of a strategy game, Patapon 3, is soon to hit PSPs in North America. The game will launch at retail and on PSN on April 12 for the low price of just $20. Bargain! Multiplayer makes a return in this second sequel, along with a single-player campaign and four-player co-op.
Hopefully we’ll have a release date for Europe/Australia soon. Will this be Patapon‘s encore? Could the NGP’s touch screen breathe new life into the series?

Think you made it off the Sprawl? Think again; Dead Space 2‘s single-player expansion, Severed is nearly here. This all-new campaign focuses on Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock, two characters from the on-rails Dead Space Extraction. The trailer above will give you a taste of what’s to come; nercomorphs, blood, and plenty of limbs flying off.
It also confirms a release date: March 1 (March 2 on PSN for Europe). That’s next week, in case you didn’t know. It’ll set you back 560 MS points or $6.99 on PSN. Excited? We know we are.
On top of that EA also announced a number of suit and weapon variations as DLC. These are three different packs: Martial Law, Supernova, and Occupational Hazard, all of which offer different themed suits and weapons for 400 MS points or $4.99 a piece. These are available now.
